Flat Stanley Does His Roots

Sorry to be light on blogging of late. My schedule has been a little crazy!

At any rate, I wanted to show you, Austin, the handsome fellow below. He's my nephew and the instigator behind the Flat Stanley piece we've just added on Roots Television. He sent me Flat Stanley a few years ago (if you have no clue who that is, be sure to watch!), and of course, I made F.S. do his roots! Thanks for the adventures you prompted, Austin!

Megan,

LOL, ROFLWLVL. Very well done! Bravo!

Austin sounds like a neat kid. Was that his voice on the video?

I couldn't resist blogging about it, and hopefully driving more folks to Roots TV. See http://randysmusings.blogspot.com/2007/02/flat-stanley-has-roots.html (that's a shameless blog plug, eh?).

Thanks for the laugh - especially the names in the pedigree chart. clever.

Cheers -- Randy

Myra Lemson:

Megan, I have read so many articles about your research into the connection between Rev. Al Sharpton and Strom Thurmond!

Is there any evidence that there was a BIOLOGICAL link between the two families?

I am having a big debate with a friend about this. I think she got confused about Strom's affair @ 22yrs old with his 16 year old maid, and resulting in a biracial daughter.

Any information available?

Carla:

I loved it, but where did it go? I emailed it to my teacher friends, and now it's not on the opening page.
