Annie Moore on Stage

Well, this should be interesting. Alia Faith Williams has written and produced a play about the search for Annie Moore (the first immigrant through Ellis Island) called Making Up History. Interesting title, eh?

The play will be performed as part of the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington, D.C. five times over the coming week or so:

Friday, July 20 @ 6:00pm
Saturday, July 21 @ 5:30pm
Monday, July 23 @ 8:30pm
Thursday, July 26 @ 5:00pm
Saturday, July 28 @ 7:30pm

You can bet I'll be there for one of the performances! If you happen to live in the D.C. area and would be interested, you can learn more here.

Oh I wish I was in NY. Maybe they will reprise it and take it on the road. I want to hear all about it, Megan.
