Welcome to the world of Mac. This (very cool) search engine uses an interface very similar to Mac OS X's Cover Flow which is used in Finder to display the contents of your files or iTunes to view album art. It's very handy for browsing, but can be distracting when you're looking for something specific. I have a tendency to forget what I was looking for when cruising through all these other interesting files.
