Og's Feeling Frisky!

Og’s in the mood for love…and you will be, too, after you’ve viewed “The Kiss” as our new programming for the day. See how far things have progressed (whether for better or worse) from the day in 1896 when this first movie kiss – between May Irwin and John Rice -- was filmed in the comedy “The Widow Jones”.

Since the first kiss is so short, you might also want to wander around Roots Television's other channels. In Preserving the Past, you’ll find a new short film about Pioneering Histories -- The Vaughan Homestead. Built in 1865 in Auckland, New Zealand, and comprising of 1200 acres, the family farmed the land for over 100 years. Learn how all this could be lost to the development of 1700 homes, and what is being done to attempt to preserve the past.
